I am excited to share that my video “Where Do We Go”, created some time ago about the experiences of refugees, has been selected by curator @karengutfreundart for The Uncivil Canvas: Art in the Age of Discord at Woman Made Gallery, Chicago.
Created using images from my Flow of Humanity series and accompanied by native flute music played by my husband, Alamdar Arastu, the piece reflects on the journeys and struggles of refugees.
The exhibition runs January 17–February 14, 2026
