Cultural commentary in color, words and form characterize the solo exhibition of Salma Arastu at Peninsula Museum of Art. The exhibition opens on Sunday January 17 and continues through April 10. The reception will be held on opening day from 2 to 4 pm.

About the Curator

Ruth Waters is a San Francisco Peninsula based – awards winning –  sculptor and painter. She is the founder and chair of the Peninsula Museum of Art; founder of the 1870 Art Center in Belmont (1977 – 2012); founder of the Peninsula Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art; and co-founder of the Peninsula Sculptors’ Guild.
