We’ve never had such a diverse group of people visiting the museum, says the Rev. Terrence Dempsey. “It’s the first exhibition we’ve had where people have asked to buy the art.” Dempsey is the director of the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, on the campus of St. Louis University. MOCRA, in the words of its mission statement, It is the world’s first interfaith museum of contemporary art that engages religious and spiritual themes.
